Rules for using Meridian.

Meridian is operated by Novak Božović, based in the Republic of Serbia.

By downloading, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using Meridian, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Meridian.

These Terms apply to Meridian's iOS app, Meridian Pro access, app content, support pages, legal pages, and related communications from the App Operator.

Plain meaning: Meridian is a paid quit-smoking support app. You are responsible for how you use it, and you should use professional medical or emergency services when your situation requires them.

Meridian uses Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement for the app license unless Apple or the App Operator makes a different license available through the App Store.

These Terms are intended to work alongside Apple's standard app license. They explain Meridian-specific rules, paid access, health-content limits, support boundaries, privacy references, and app-use expectations. If these Terms conflict with Apple's standard app license or Apple's App Store transaction rules, Apple's terms control for the app license and App Store transaction.

You can review Apple's standard license at Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Meridian is not directed to children. If you are under the legal age applicable in your location, or if you are using Meridian in connection with nicotine use, you should use the app only with appropriate parent, guardian, healthcare, or professional support.

You are responsible for following the laws and rules that apply where you live, including rules about tobacco, nicotine, healthcare, digital purchases, and use of mobile apps.

Meridian requires active Meridian Pro access to use the app's main features. There is no general free-access tier for the main app experience.

Meridian Pro may be offered through the purchase options below, depending on availability in your App Store country or region.

Prices are not listed in these Terms because prices, currencies, taxes, offers, and availability may vary by country, region, and App Store settings. The current price, billing period, trial eligibility, and purchase details are shown in Meridian and on Apple's purchase confirmation sheet before you confirm a purchase.

If there is a difference between these Terms and the purchase information shown by Apple at the time of purchase, Apple's purchase sheet controls the transaction details for that purchase.

Monthly Pro and Annual Pro are auto-renewable subscriptions. If you buy a subscription, payment is charged to the Apple Account you use for App Store purchases when you confirm the purchase.

Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before the end of the current billing period. Apple may handle renewal reminders, price-change notices, billing retry, cancellation controls, receipts, and subscription management through your Apple Account.

Annual Pro currently includes a 7-day introductory free trial for Apple Accounts that StoreKit reports as eligible. If StoreKit reports that you are not eligible, the app should not promise a trial, and Apple's purchase sheet controls what you are charged and when.

Cancel through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Meridian, resetting app data, or removing the app from your device does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.

If you cancel, Pro access usually continues until the end of the current paid billing period, unless Apple's rules or refund decision say otherwise. Meridian does not receive or process your full payment-card information.

Meridian Pro products are not currently Family Shareable in the reviewed StoreKit configuration unless Apple or the app clearly shows otherwise at the time of purchase.

Lifetime Access is a one-time purchase for paid Meridian Pro features for as long as Meridian is offered, maintained, and technically supported by the App Operator.

Lifetime Access does not mean:

• access for the biological lifetime of any person;
• access to a separate app, separate website, separate service, separate coaching product, or future product sold separately;
• access to every possible future feature if a feature is later offered as a separate product or legally requires separate terms;
• that Meridian will operate forever, remain unchanged forever, or remain available on every future Apple device or operating-system version.

The App Operator may update, improve, redesign, remove, rename, or replace Meridian features over time. If Meridian is discontinued, Lifetime Access ends when the app is no longer offered, maintained, and technically supported.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple's rules and local law. Meridian cannot guarantee that Apple will approve a refund.

For refund requests, failed charges, payment-method issues, tax questions, duplicate purchases, or subscription billing problems, use Apple's App Store purchase support and Apple Account subscription settings.

Meridian includes a Restore Purchases option. Restore Purchases asks Apple StoreKit to check whether your Apple Account has an active Meridian Pro subscription or Lifetime Access purchase.

Restoring may be useful if you reinstall Meridian, move to a new device, or purchase access but the app does not unlock correctly.

Purchase restoration depends on Apple's StoreKit systems, your Apple Account, network availability, and the status of the original purchase.

Meridian is a quit-smoking support app designed to help you build and maintain a quit plan. Features may include:

Some features rely on information you enter. If your quit date, cigarette frequency, cigarette price, currency, check-ins, craving logs, or cigarette events are inaccurate, Meridian's outputs may also be inaccurate.

Meridian is for educational, motivational, and self-reflection purposes. Meridian is not medical care, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, crisis counseling, addiction treatment, or emergency support.

Meridian is not a medical device. It does not measure, verify, diagnose, monitor, or clinically assess blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen level, carbon monoxide level, lung function, cancer risk, heart risk, withdrawal severity, mental health, nicotine dependence, pregnancy risk, medication safety, or any medical condition.

If you may be in immediate danger, have chest pain, severe breathing trouble, fainting, poisoning symptoms, suicidal thoughts, thoughts of harming yourself or someone else, or any urgent medical symptoms, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department. Meridian cannot detect your location or contact emergency services for you.

You should speak with a qualified healthcare professional before relying on self-help tools if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, under medical care, using nicotine replacement therapy or cessation medication, living with heart or lung disease, managing a mental-health condition, or experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms.

Your privacy is described in Meridian's Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains what data Meridian handles, where data is stored, how optional iCloud sync works, and how export, reset, and deletion controls work.

You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information you enter into Meridian, including quit details, check-ins, cravings, journal-style entries, reasons for quitting, and personal reflections.

Meridian may allow you to export, copy, or share app data. Once you export, copy, send, or share data outside the app, that external destination may have its own privacy and security rules. Be careful with sensitive entries.

Optional iCloud sync, where available, is handled through Apple iCloud services tied to your Apple Account and device settings. The App Operator does not control Apple's iCloud service, Apple Account security, or your device-level iCloud settings.

You agree not to misuse Meridian. You must not:

• use Meridian in a way that violates law or the rights of another person;
• attempt to bypass payment, subscription, entitlement, security, or access controls;
• reverse engineer, decompile, tamper with, scrape, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app except where law clearly allows it;
• use Meridian to provide medical, crisis, addiction-treatment, or therapeutic services to others unless you are separately qualified and responsible for that service;
• misrepresent Meridian as emergency care, a medical device, a clinical tool, or a substitute for professional help;
• send abusive, unlawful, misleading, or harmful support requests or communications.

Meridian's app design, interface, copy, structure, branding, icons, illustrations, feature names, content, code, and related materials are owned by the App Operator or used under applicable licenses.

You receive only the limited right to use Meridian according to Apple's app license and these Terms. You do not receive ownership of Meridian, its content, its design system, or its intellectual property.

Your personal entries remain yours. Meridian does not claim ownership of the quit reasons, check-ins, craving logs, journal-style entries, or reflections that you create in the app.

Meridian may change over time. The App Operator may add, remove, redesign, rename, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, content, product names, pricing options, or support resources.

Meridian may not be available at all times or in all locations. Access can be affected by Apple services, App Store availability, StoreKit systems, iCloud systems, device compatibility, operating-system changes, network access, maintenance, technical errors, legal requirements, or events outside the App Operator's control.

App updates may be required for continued use, bug fixes, security improvements, App Store compliance, operating-system compatibility, or new functionality.

To the extent permitted by law, Meridian is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The App Operator does not guarantee that Meridian will be uninterrupted, error-free, clinically accurate, medically appropriate for you, or able to help you quit smoking.

Meridian does not guarantee any particular outcome, including quitting success, relapse prevention, health improvement, money saved, life expectancy change, symptom change, or medical-risk reduction.

To the extent permitted by law, the App Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, personal decisions made in reliance on the app, failure to seek professional help, or problems caused by Apple services, iCloud, App Store billing, device settings, internet access, or third-party systems.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where that exclusion or limitation is not allowed by law. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country or region give you additional rights that cannot be waived by contract.

If a court or authority finds part of these Terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remain in effect as far as legally possible.

The App Operator may update these Terms from time to time. The Last updated date at the top of the page shows when the Terms were last changed.

Material changes may be communicated through the app, the website, App Store release notes, or another reasonable method. Continuing to use Meridian after updated Terms become available means you accept the updated Terms.
